To cut up the cheese, Fauna 3D is a tool for communication and networking…
Mostly, it consists of a series of blogposts narrating our experience of learning and testing, and sometimes failing, free and open software, then sharing our thoughts on the different steps of the process for creating virtual replicas (3D models) of archaeological bones.
One of the members of Fauna 3D, Daniela Ávido, was featured in the series “HC User Spotlight”. The interview, by Caitlin Duffy, can be reached here. There, Daniela talks about why Fauna 3D was created and how it has helped the project and the team members grow.
